Welcome to our healing church. Celebrating 80 years in Renton.

First Church of Christ, Scientist, Renton, has been part of the Renton, Washington, community since 1929. Along with Christian Science churches in more than 80 countries, we’re a branch of The Mother Church – The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts.
You’ll find our church at 220 Whitworth Avenue South (map). As fellow “seekers for Truth,” we warmly welcome anyone searching to understand the true nature of man and the universe, as God’s perfect spiritual creation. Please join us for our Sunday morning church service at 10 a.m. or our Wednesday evening testimony meeting at 7:30 p.m. (6:30 p.m. June through September). Young people are always welcome in our Sunday School.
Our Reading Room is located at 212 Wells Avenue South (map) and is open Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from noon until 4 p.m. and on Tuesday from 4 to 6 p.m.
Here’s how to get in touch with us and find our church.

Free public talk on security
You’re invited to a free public talk on Saturday, June 13, called “Security: A Present Possibility.” Heloisa Rivas, CSB – a practitioner and teacher of Christian Science – will share how you can have a secure home, secure finances, secure relationships, secure health, security from harm, and more.
The event includes a free barbecue picnic at 11:30 a.m. The talk begins at 12:30 p.m. Both events take place at our church.
